Kerry Logistics, one of the leading third party logistics service providers in Asia, announced today the appointment of Chaminda Gunasekera to the role of Director of Sales and Marketing, Greater China of Kerry EAS Logistics – the brand of Kerry Logistics in Mainland China.

Based in Shanghai, Mr Gunasekera will be responsible for all aspects of Kerry EAS Logistics’ international sales activities, in particular leading the strategic development of sea-air services to support the company's expansion plans in Mainland China.

Prior to this new appointment, Mr Gunasekera was Sales Director for China (2005-07) and Director / CEO for Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius and Maldives (2002-05) of BAX Global.

Prior to BAX, Mr Gunasekera has been working with Dragon Airline, Cathay Pacific Cargo and Kuwait Airways Cargo. He has won a number of awards throughout his career, namely Best Sales Director in Asia for 2005/2006 of President’s Club Award.

Another newly appointed sales executive is Guillaume Boudin, Sales Director of Greater Northern China. Mr Boudin will be based in Beijing and reports to Mr Gunasekera.
