Vincent Wong, Joint Managing Director of Kerry Logistics, was invited to become a member of the Advisory Committee for Li & Fung Institute of Supply Chain Management & Logistics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr Wong will play a role to help strengthen the role of Hong Kong as the premier supply chain management and logistics center in the Asia-Pacific region and to promote the development of the logistics industry.

The Li & Fung Institute of Supply Chain Management & Logistics (“the Institute”) was established by the Chinese University of Hong Kong (“CUHK”), with the sponsorship of Li & Fung Group with a vision is to strengthen the role of Hong Kong as the premier supply chain management and logistics center in the Asia-Pacific region and to further consolidate research efforts on these areas.

The Institute pools the strength of the Center for Supply Chain Management and Logistics of the Faculty of Business Administration, CUHK, and two Centers, namely the Centre for Logistics Technologies and Supply Chain Optimization, and the Research and Development Centre for Supply Chain and Logistics Management of the Faculty of Engineering, CUHK. The Institute will focus on technology development, applied research and business process innovation on logistics and supply chain management. Open forum and high level executive programmes will also be developed for professionals of the logistic industry through its Knowledge Transfer Office.
